Mad about the boy
I know it's stupid to be mad about the boy
I'm so ashamed of it but must admit the sleepless nights I've had
About the boy

On the silverscreen
He melts my foolish heart in every single scene
Although I'm quite aware that here and there are traces of the cad
About the boy

Lord knows I'm not a fool girl
I really shouldn't care
Lord knows I'm not a school girl
In the fury of her first affair

Will it ever cloy
This odd diversity of misery and joy
I'm feeling quite insane and young again
And all because I'm mad about the boy

So if I could employ
A little magic that will finally destroy
This dream that pains me and enchains me
But I can't because I'm mad...
I'm mad about the boy

At last, we have male duets in the popular tv show Glee.. In the Christmas episode (Season 2, Episode 10), we have Kurt and his infatuation - Blaine, singing the wonderful Baby It's Cold Outside.

I really can't stay - But baby it's cold outside
I've got to go away - But baby it's cold outside
This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in
So very nice - I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice
My mother will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry?
My father will be pacing the floor - Listen to the fireplace roar
So really I'd better scurry - Beautiful, please don't hurry
Well maybe just a half a drink more - Put some records on while I pour

The neighbors might think - Baby, it's bad out there
Say, what's in this drink? - No cabs to be had out there
I wish I knew how - Your eyes are like starlight
To break the spell - I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell
I ought to say no, no, no, sir - Mind if I move in closer?
At least I'm gonna say that I tried - What's the sense in hurting my pride?
I really can't stay - Baby don't hold out
Ahhh, but it's cold outside

I simply must go - But baby, it's cold outside
The answer is no - But baby, it's cold outside
This welcome has been - How lucky that you dropped in
So nice and warm - Look out the window at that storm
My sister will be suspicious - Man, your lips look delicious
My brother will be there at the door - Waves upon a tropical shore
My maiden aunt's mind is vicious - Ohhh your lips are delicious
Well maybe just a cigarette more - Never such a blizzard before

I've got to go home - But, baby, you'll freeze out there
Say, lend me your coat - It's up to your knees out there
You've really been grand - I thrill when you touch my hand
But don't you see - How can you do this thing to me?
There's bound to be talk tomorrow - Think of my life long sorrow
At least there will be plenty implied - If you caught pneumonia and died
I really can't stay - Get over that hold out
Ohhh, baby it's cold outside

I don't have much detail about this song, but apparently there are several remixes available in Youtube... a sign of popularity??

Lyrics:
I want to hold him in my arms
I want to protect him safe from harm
I want to touch him with my lips
When will we kiss
I need to take him by the hand
I need to make him understand
He's not like any other man
I've got to have him

Baby
You better tell me truth
I don't want to fall in love with you
Honey you're heaven sent
You don't know what you got
I don't wanna fall in love with you
But every single little thing you do

Baby makes me wanna fall in love
I see him standing there alone
He's my adonis I turn to stone
Forbidden fruit is bitter sweet
I need to eat
Suddenly we look into each others eyes
Are you the devil in disguise
Falling in love is never wise

Baby
You better tell me truth
I don't want to fall in love with you
Honey you're heaven sent
You don't know what you got
I don't wanna fall in love with you
But every single little thing you do
Baby makes me wanna fall in love

There he goes
My baby walks so slow
Sexual tic-tac-toe
Yeah I know we both know
It isn't time, no
But could you be m-mine?

We'll never get too far
Just you, me and the bar
Silly menage a trois, sometimes
Would you be m-mine?
Would you be m-mine?
Would you be m-mine?

Oh baby, light's on
But you're mom's not home
I'm sick of laying down alone, hey
With this fever, fever, yeah
My one and own
I wanna get you alone
Give you fever, fever, yeah

There it goes
You stole my so and so
'Cause, sweetheart
No-no-nobody a-kno-kno-knows me
Or can find
Time to be m-mine, mine

Let's get inside your car
Just you, me and the stars
Kind of menage a trois, sometimes
Would you be m-mine?
Would you be m-mine?
Would you be m-mine?

Oh baby, light's on
But your mom's not home
I'm sick of laying down alone, hey
With this fever, fever, yeah

My one and own
I wanna get you alone
Give you fever, fever, yeah

Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah

You burn me, burn me up
Baby yea, yea

Baby you're mine
Baby you're mine,
mine,
you're mine

Oh baby, light's on
But you're mom's not home
I'm sick of laying down alone
With this fever, fever, yeah
My one and own
I wanna get you alone
I got this fever that I can't sweat out

Oh baby light's on
But your mom's not home
I'm sick of laying down alone
With this fever, fever, yeah
My one and own
I wanna get you alone
Yeah give you fever, fever yeah

Give you my f-f-fever my f-fever
Give you my f-f-fever my f-fever
Give you fever, fever, yeah
Give you fever, fever, yeah

The famous song by Bonnie Tyler from the movie Footloose in the 80's was a song talking about a woman yearning for a man to be the hero to save her. To have Emery singing this gem is a good treat.

Man, we all need a good manly hero. Kindly ignore the senseless screaming of Hero at the end. :(

Where have all the good men gone and where are all the Gods?
Where's the street wise Hercules to fight the rising odds?
Isn't there a white knight upon a fiery steed?
Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I need

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero till the end of the night
he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast
and he's gotta be fresh from the fight, fresh from the fight

Somewhere after midnight
In my wildest fantasy
Somewhere just beyond my reach
There's someone reaching back for me
Racing on the thunder and rising with the heat
It's gonna take a Superman to sweep me off my feet

I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero till the end of the night
he's gotta be strong and he's gotta be fast
and gotta be fresh from the fight
I need a hero
I'm holding out for a hero till the morning light
He's gotta be sure and he's gotta be soon
And he's gotta be larger than life,
Larger than life

Up where the mountains meet the heavens above,
Out where the lightning splits the sea
I would swear that there's someone somewhere watching me
Through the wind and the chill and the rain
and the storm and the flood
I can feel his approach like the fire in my blood
Like the fire in my blood,
Like the fire in my blood,
Like the fire in my blood,
Like the fire in my (ohh ohh)

He's a big city kid in a small town,
They said he couldn't do it,
He knew he had to.

I think it is so cool that there are two songs with the same title - Johnny, Are You Gay? The first one was covered live by the Go-Go's, which was sang again by Josie Cotton. I like that song, and I am finding myself fond of the second version now... by The Hillbilly Moon Explosion.

He has never tried?
What's his problem?

Johnny are you gay?
You are so good looking
but something is in the way
When I look in your eyes
Johnny you mean so much to me
I waited so long for you to set me free
so I ask myself each day
Johnny are you gay?

This song was a hit for the late Dusty Springfield. I just love when Pet Shop Boys is no longer hiding of what their sexual orientation. What do we get? We get this remake of Pet Shop Boys collaboration with Elton John - In Private. It's a good gay song when they are together...

Take your time and tell me
Why you lie?
I realise
That we've been found out this time
We should stand together
If we can
But what you planned
Means there's a difference between ...

What you're gonna say in private
You still want my love, we're in this together
And what you're gonna do in public
Say you were never in love that you can remember
So discrete (She's so discrete)
I never tried to meet (She never)
Your friends or interfere (No)
I took a back seat (Back seat) between ...
On what you're gonna say in private
You still want my love, we're in this together
And what you're gonna do in public
Say you were never in love that you can remember

What you gonna say
When you run back to your wife
I guess it's just the story of her life
What you gonna say
So take your time
And tell me, when did you lie
Oh, I mean
All the time (No)
That there's a difference (A difference) between (between)
On what you're gonna say in private
You still want my love, we're in this together
And what you're gonna do in public
Say you were never in love that you can remember

Tell me what you gonna say (In private) Oooh
(You still want my love, we're in this together)
What you gonna say, what you gonna do
(And what you're gonna do) Baby
(in public) What you gonna say
(Say you were never in love) Oooh
(that you can remember) What you gonna say
Say in private

This song was made popular by Fern Kinney in 1980, but was used in the wonderful movie Kinky Boots (2005), sang by drag queen, Lola (Chiwetel Ejiofor). Just thought that someone, anyone should be aware of a guy singing this wonderful song, about another guy.

He walked into my life, and now he's taking over
And it's beautiful
Yes it's beautiful

I've gone with better looking guys
He's gone with prettier looking girls
But now we're beautiful
I think we're beautiful

I don't need love affairs anymore
I don't need love affairs anymore
Can't you see, it's the chemistry
You really must agree together we are beautiful
We are so beautiful

I am the rain, he is the sun
And now we've made a rainbow
I think it's beautiful
It's really beautiful
I don't need love affairs anymore
I don't need love affairs anymore
Can't you see, it's the chemistry
You really must agree together we are beautiful
We are beautiful

And if the whole world fell in love
Just like me and my man
This would be beautiful
This would be so beautiful
I don't need love affairs anymore
No I don't need love affairs anymore
Can't you see, it's the chemistry
You really must agree together we are beautiful
We are beautiful
Can't you see, it's the chemistry
You really must agree together we are beautiful
We are beautiful

In 1995, Sheryl Crow sang Strong Enough, a hit that reached No.5 on Billboard Hot 100. I read somewhere it was a song about her father. Don't shoot me if I am wrong.

Anyway, I was lucky to come across this song by Keta-Men, which was made to have a gay-feel - a gay song called Strong Enough. This song had been around long enough, since 1997, and I am happy to have bumped into it by chance and luck. :)

Found this gay song in MySpace and also Youtube. :) Good find.

Well, in the spirit of enjoying a fun song about a girl who is head over the heel with a gay boy. Enjoy this cutie gay song.

I don't even know the name of the artist, but I appreciate her effort of coming up with such a fine title for a gay song. Heard that her song is available in iTune. So, support her if you can.

I come across this song when I was surfing Youtube. Some loyal fan of Gossip Girl's handsome Nate and the other ugly male co-star, Chuck, made a video with this gay song. It is no indication of the link between the popular tv series with the song. As I am not able to find another video for this, I have no choice but to link this song to that video.

You told me you loved me
I know where and when
Come sunrise, surprise surprise, the joke's on me again.
I know you don't love me,
You know i don't care.
Keep it hidden better.
Did I say the world is fair.

I thought I was just the guy for you and it would never end.
I thought we were supposed to be like glue,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
I thought you were my boyfriend.
Love or not, I've always got ten guys on whom I can depend.
And if you're not mine, one less is nine, get wise,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
I thought you were my boyfriend.

I just hope you're happy,
Stringing me along.
While you're stringing.
I'm here singing this, my saddest song.
I wish I could see you,
I wish I could sleep.
Should I freak out?
Should I seek out
Someone I could keep?

I thought I was just the guy for you and it would never end.
I thought we were supposed to be like glue,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
I thought you were my boyfriend.
Love or not, I've always got ten guys on whom I can depend.
And if you're not mine, one less is nine, get wise,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
I thought you were my boyfriend.

I wanted you to know.
I walked around a lot.
Wishing you were here to keep me from sleeping
With anyone who might
Want me or even love.
Some guys have a beer and they'll do anything, anything, anything.

I thought I was just the guy for you and it would never end.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought we were supposed to be like glue,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought you were my boyfriend.
Love or not, I've always got ten guys on whom I can depend.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
And if you're not mine, one less is nine, get wise,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought you were my boyfriend.

I thought I was just the guy for you and it would never end.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought we were supposed to be like glue,
I thought you were my boyfriend.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought you were my boyfriend.
Love or not I've always got ten guys on whom I can depend
(thought you were my boyfriend)
And if you're not mine, one less is nine, get wise
I thought you were my boyfriend.
(thought you were my boyfriend)
I thought you were my boyfriend.

I have always liked The Cure for Friday I'm in Love and Love Song. I did wonder Robert Smith's sexual orientation but never come around to find out. I am just lucky to bump into this gay song today. I love the lyrics.

To have his arms around me,
to sense his perfect trust
I’d give all I ever had…
all I ever had…

I’d love to see him dream,
I’d love to watch him sleep
To have his arms around me, ?
Held his arms in mine,
sense his perfect trust
I’d give all I ever had for a moment of his love

He’s my heart and my soul
He’s my blood and my bones
He’s my prayers and my hope
My wishes and dreams
Seems so long ago, so long ago…

I’d love to watch him dream,
love to see him sleep
To have his arms around me,
feel him as he breathes
Hold his hands in mine,
sense his perfect trust
I’d give all I ever had for a moment of his love

He’s my heart and my soul
He’s my blood and my bones
He’s my prayers and my hopes
My wishes and dreams
Seems so long ago…

He’s my blood and my bones
He’s my heart and my soul
He’s my prayers and my hopes
My wishes and dreams

A boy I never knew
And the man I’ll never know
I’ll never know, I'll never know…

To have his arms around me,
sense his perfect trust
I’d give all I ever had…

No visual. Just audio.

There are always some gays out there who are in love with straight guys, and it's about time someone sings about it. I was lucky enough to come across a gay artist who calls himself b.o.y. who has a song about it. I think I read somewhere that the original title is Wish I Never Knew, which again sounds like it is addressing any gay straight-hag issue. :p

Doesn't anyone think the cover reminds one of Mitch Hewer? I love me Mitch Hewer, and I like b.o.y.'s song too. :)

I let my heart get far ahead of me
And now it's too far gone to catch
I should have never gotten close to you
I should have never lit the match
I thought we were a possibility
But it was too good to be real
And now all I have are broken parts
I wish you knew just how I feel

So I fell in love with a straight boy
Was it all just in my head?
I fell in love with a straight boy
And now I can't get out of bed
My head tells me to move on
While my heart still clings to you
But you, you're just a straight boy
And I wish I never knew

Why is it so hard just to walk away?
When I know how this will go
You're gonna end up with a pretty girl
And I will end up all alone
But I want to believe there is a way
A way that you could cross the line
Want to believe that there is a better day
I just want you to be mine

So I fell in love with a straight boy
Was it all just in my head?
I fell in love with a straight boy
And now I can't get out of bed
My head tells me to move on
While my heart still clings to you
But you, you're just a straight boy
And I wish I never knew

I really wish I never knew
Those times I sat right next to you
And I wanted you to kiss me then
And smile at me like you do
Now I really wish that you knew
About the playlist made for you
You could listen to it every night
And tease me like you do
I'd do anything for you
If only I never knew
If only I never knew

But I know that you're a straight boy
With no clue of how I've felt
You don't see how you change me
How your words can make me melt
My head tells me to move on
While my heart still clings to you
But you, you're just a straight boy
And I wish I never knew

You can know about b.o.y. here.

Well, we all remember Jay Brannan from the gay films Shortbus (2006) and Holding Trevor (2007). And we also know that Jay Brannan croons cool tunes and this String-A-Long song is another gay song.. gay song, because the lyrics clearly states a fondness between one guy with another.

To the boy who should have loved me,
From the boy you could've had.
I promised not to send this letter,
I wouldn't want you to feel bad.
For not opening your heart to me,
For your unavailability.

I guess you're not required to like me,
But did you fake it just to spite me?

[Chorus]
Well here's a little String-a-long song for you.
Just give up your pride, your past,
your pain, your fear of intimacy
And string-a-long with me too.

Thanks for leading me on,
But this time I'm gonna be strong
Although your disinterest kind
of came as a surprise cause
You could see the sin and the sadness
And taste the gin and the madness
on my lips, and in my eyes well
I can't help that I wanna see you again.
But it takes two to start a string-a-long song
And only one... to make it end.

Well the Flake Syndrome is an epidemic
That spans the globe from town to town.
But I can't figure out
why you put forth such an effort
To win me over, just to turn me down.
Cause your words are so soft and sweet,
But your actions are screaming.
And if you see me waiting around for you,
I hope you also see you're dreaming.

[Chorus]
Well here's a little String-a-long song for you.
Just give up your pride, your past,
your pain, your fear of intimacy
And string-a-long with me too.

Thanks for leading me on,
But this time I'm gonna be strong
Although your disinterest kind
of came as a surprise cause
You could see the sin and the sadness
And taste the gin and the madness
on my lips, and in my eyes well
I can't help that I wanna see you again.
But it takes two to start a string-a-long song
And only one... to make it end.

I know he'll break my heart,
I know I'll fall apart. And
I know because this is how it starts.
Maybe it's wrong of me...
To wish that we could be,
But your kiss matched mine
So perfectly.

[Chorus]
Well here's a little String-a-long song for you.
Just give up your pride, your past,
your pain, your fear of intimacy
And string-a-long with me too.

Thanks for leading me on,
But this time I'm gonna be strong
I wish you weren't too scared
to speak your goodbyes cause
The truth is I wish you well,
thanks for saving me from hell
I owe you one of the few I got left of my nine lives.
Well, I can't help that I wanna see you again.
But it takes two to start a string-a-long song
And only one... to make it end.

I love this one.. Another gay song of almost the same title by TomBoy. This is supposed to by Haratio Lee Jenkins - the straightest man in the world.

Thanks to Katy Perry, there are several gay parodies to her hit I Kissed a Girl. So, here, I am assembling those I am able to find, and that were done in acceptable quality.

Should I say that this should be the famous one? This is I Kissed a Boy by Cobra Starship, who sings the hit Good Girls Go Bad.

This is by James Merryman - I Kissed A Boy (Boy Remix)

I Kissed a Boy (Remix) by Chris Salvatore

Of course, someone should do something about the picture in the video. Not tasteful.

YOU HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS VERSION!
Sam Sparro - I Kissed a Girl/Boy (Acoustic Version)
Damn! This is GOOD! Is he really Sam Sparro?? Damn, he has a nice body. You should know that Sam Sparro is gay, and has a hit - Black and Gold. He also sang a gay version 'American Boy' made famous by Estelle featuring Kanye West.

Songs listed here are songs that I am aware of available in the internet. These songs are songs where the lyrics directly mention of love, relationship or feeling between a guy and another guy, be it a gay love or a bisexual that involves male-to-male. Or at least the existence of a gay.
